The YouLift Bed is designed without a traditional lifting mechanism to keep things simple and cost-effective. Instead, it uses wooden rockers at the floor that let the bed smoothly “roll” up and down. With help from a partner, you can easily lift and lower the bed while saving hundreds compared to mechanized options.
Is it safe to operate alone?
For safety, always have two able-bodied adults lift or lower the bed together. Operating it alone is not recommended. Use a lightweight mattress like the YouLift Mattress, as even a 10–20 lb difference can affect ease of movement.
Can the mattress platform be moved once lowered?
Yes. When unlocked, the platform and cabinet are separate pieces, allowing you to reposition the platform as needed.
