Assembling the YouLift Bed typically takes about 2 to 4 hours. Below is an overview, but always follow the official assembly guide included in your box for step-by-step instructions.
1. Prepare your space
Clear enough room for assembly and protect your floor with cardboard or a drop cloth.
2. Gather your tools
You’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver, wrench, power drill, rubber mallet, and a level. All hardware is included with the bed.
3. Assemble the platform
Connect the wood panels using the provided connector screws and inserts.
4. Assemble the cabinet
Attach the side panels, install the shelves, and add the hinge plates and locks used when the bed is folded.
5. Anchor the bed to the wall
This is essential for safe use. Locate the studs with a stud finder and use the provided anchor screws to secure the cabinet to the wall.
6. Install the mattress strap and locks
Attach the mattress strap anchors to the platform and secure the strap. Install the locking mechanism that holds the bed closed when upright.
7. Final checks
Tighten all fasteners and test the bed by raising and lowering the platform. Make any alignment adjustments as needed.
