Does the YouLift Bed require a 12" mattress, and are these common in the USA?

The YouLift Bed can be used with any mattress up to 12 inches thick. While 12" mattresses are a great fit, thinner mattresses also work well and provide a bit more room for keeping sheets on when lifting the bed.

Twelve-inch mattresses are very common in the USA and widely available from most major mattress retailers.
