How do I safely remove the pistons from the Lori Bed?

This applies to: Lori Bed

⚠️ Warning: Do not remove the pistons until they are fully secured with the Compression Straps. The cabinet must remain anchored to the wall at all times.
Steps:

1. Remove both Mechanism Covers and keep the screws.
2. Loosen (do not remove) piston nuts using Tool T4.
3. Disengage StayOpen Locks.
4. Raise the platform to about a 30° angle.
5. Slide Compression Straps over both pistons and tighten.
6. Secure pistons with zip ties.
7. With a partner, remove the piston nuts by hand, then remove the pistons.
